Woke up at 7.30am for school today as there are groups doing their presentation on the Sichuan trip. Okie, I’m pissed at my block lift. I seriously think that the town council should upgrade the lift real soon.

While I was walking down the stairs, there were one father and one son waiting for the lift and the son is about 5yrs old. So when the lift came, I was the last to enter and suay suay, the lift goes “Beeppppppppppppppppp”. It was overloaded with people!! WTH. There were only one uncle and one married couple with a small kid inside the lift. So after the father and the son entered, the lift capacity was full. -___-“ All of the passengers don’t looked fat at all lor. Then I had to get out of the lift since I was the last to enter. This is so embarrassing la. Imagine the lift goes “Beep” and everyone knows that the last to enter have to get out and are waiting for that someone (that’s me) to leave so that they proceed to the 1st storey? And hello, I’m not even 40kg and the lift couldn’t afford my weight?! Does this mean I’m considered overweight from the lift’s point of view?! Even my laptop doesn’t weigh more than 5kg lor.

I bought a new slipper on last Sunday at Pull & Bear. It costs $19.90. Nice right?

Everyone, say nice pls. N I C E!

It's marker, ops, michael I mean, 52th birthday tomorrow so we celebrated it today as he was off on monday. I ended work at 8pm and did a short shopping before buying the cake wid sherlyn. Haha. It's meant to be a surprise for Michael so the plan was kept as a secret. While Michael and Eileen were doing the closing, me and sherlyn were preparing the cake in the storeroom. The most funniest thing was when we were searching for the switch and ended up switching off the storeroom lights in the end. Haha. Can't blame us as Eileen was the one who was supposed to tell us where the switches are. Lol. Anyway, I captured the video while we were singing the birthday song and also some parts of the celebration. Shall upload the videos tml ya?

The birthday cake. Notice that there were 5 big and 2 small candles instead of 2 big and 5 small candles. It's meant to be a prank set by Sherlyn Ho. haha

Preparing in process.

Not to forget to take a pic while preparing. Hehe

The birthday boy, Michael.

My school is still so lousy even though we paid $1000+ per sem. Why do I say so?

First
While waiting for IB lecture to start, shall blog a little now. Sian, it has been raining since 10+am till now and it’s still raining. Heavy downpour and the school is flooded la. Lousy school. I wonder who the designers are. Why din they took the rain into consideration.

Second
I can’t blog at the underpass and in the classroom. Dunno why. It said there's an error on page. Lousy school again.

Third
The school network has always been so bad since year 1. The connection just can’t remain stable for 30mins. I always got disconnected halfway and kept signing in and out in msn. Then one fine night, my frenz got pek chek and asked me how many times I must sign in and out in a day. Haha. Din mean to la but the school connection just sucks everywhere. Lousy school. What to do.

Fourth
I couldn’t sign in to msn. Think they block the link or something. It will be nonsense if they really block the msn cos I don’t see a reason why they need to do that. After several times of attempt, I gave up. Aiya, Lousy school.

Okie, enough of school. I will be like ms chee already if I will to complain further. Haha. Anyway, I was reading Caroline’s blog just now and saw an interesting post. She was searching for her frenz blog in google by typing her frenz name. So I decided to search for mine since I got nothing else to do.

There’s actually a Siew Fang Law. Lol. Click on the url below to find out more about Siew Fang Law. Haha.

http://www.conferences.unimelb.edu.au/flagship/Abstracts/law.pdf

I can't seem to upload any pictures now so shall post it tml den.

My lady boss wanted another helper to help her with her 600 leather tags so I got Jessica along. So, after the IR lecture, we went over to my attachment workplace and started working again. Chewy came along too as she is our entertainer. Haha. Sigh, we are almost half done only. Tired of doing it already but got no choice and have to finish it. Don't feel like talking about it anymore.

My dad came and fetch us home. Bought back 800 luggage tags tis time round as we wanna finish the project asap. Went to fetch my mum after that before going for supper as I have not had my dinner yet. So we headed over to Banquet which is near Bt Timah and I happened to see my secondary school friends at there too. Such a coincidence. Okie, I'm tired and sleepy now. Gdnite everyone.

*Will post the pics tml.

I have been busy recently. Not with school but with my attachment workplace. My lady boss asked if I’m able to get 2 friends to help her with the packing so I asked Sherlyn along. She would prefer me to help her so that she can hand the keys over to me for my convenience as I can drop by anytime to do the packing. And also that she trust me not to “misbehave” la. Haha. There are a total of 5,500 luggage tags for us to pack. First, we need to tie the leather strap with the luggage tag. Second, place it in the box. Third, put a name card on top of the tag and that’s it. Sounds easy but it requires a lot of hard work and effort. We brought the luggage tag and the leather strap home to do so as to save time and brought it back to my attachment workplace to pack it inside the box.

There are two types of luggage tags. One is the pic shown above (5,000 pcs) and as for the other one, I did not took any pic. But it's close to the one below (500pcs).

This luggage tags requires more work than the one above as we need to take out the sample card from the tag which means we had to remove the leather strap before replacing the sample card to the name card. Extra work lor! Actually, it isn't this only. This 500pcs of luggage tags came with boxes and wrapping. So we need to remove the wrapping, take out the the luggage tags, put it back with the wrapping. And when the next day we came in the tags with the name card slotted in, we had to do the same thing over again! Yes, I’m whining.

We are paid $150 per person. $150/2,750 pcs = $0.05 per box
I felt we are underpaid given that there is so much hard work to put in.
So I msged my boss to ask for an increment and he told me he will re-calculate. Hehe.

This was taken in the toilet before T&D tutorial. Haha. I got no intention to take any pictures at first. It was only when we entered the toilet and saw a group of girls taking photos in front of the mirror and was making so much noise. So I decided to copy them after they left the toilet. Lol. Okie la, I was bored after attending 2 lectures and felt a lil sleepy at that time. So in order to cheer myself up, I need to do something interesting/stupid and by following their actions is one of the ways.

Whatever

I was so bored and was home alone last night. I wouldn't be bored if my adaptor din die on me but luckily, the acer people had sent the replacement to my house in the morning today and here I am blogging now.

Ok, I was watching tv in my parent’s room last night as I din feel like watching it in the living room. When I opened the drawer to find the remote control, I found something interesting. Antique pagers and handphone! Haha.

The first 2 pagers belong to my sis and the 3rd + ericsson hp belongs to my mum. My sis first pager was the one in green before she changed to Motorola (first one). And after she got her first handphone which is Nokia 8210 if I’m not wrong, I inherit her Motorola pager. Haha. I still remembered that pagers were operating by battery at that time and used 1 triple A battery. Then if you want to page someone, upon hearing the dial tone, you press “#” once, key in the number e.g. 65670000 and press “#” twice this time. Why do I still remember? Haha. Cos when I was working during my attachment, one of my colleague’s client actually asked my colleague to “page” him once she got the information. My colleague was stunned when she heard that la. Lol.

Back to the topic, my mum first handphone was Ericsson which she got it through sis’ frenz. That was a second hand one and she was fine with it. I can’t recall how much she bought that phone but it should cost less than $150. Let’s try to imagine the value of this phone now. Ha. Maybe $5? Lol.

And this 2 pagers belonged to my dad! haha. His pagers was even more antique la especially the one on the right. Haha. Think he got that from the company. No wonder. Lol.

SO what about me?
The first handphone that I had was a damn cheapo one. KFC was doing a promotion at that time. The promotion was something like if you buy their promotion meal set, you will get a free Motorola phone but on the conditions to sign with Singtel for 2yrs. I was in secondary one and that’s when everyone started to own a handphone. So I urged my mum to get the phone for me. Haha. At that point of time, handphone come in big and bulky sizes. Hence when I brought the phone to school and placed it in my skirt pocket, it looked like there’s bread in it! Lol.

Come to think of it, I had changed my handphone 7 times already. Hehe.
1) Motorola (that cheapo phone)

I managed to find something similar.

2) Nokia 8250

3) Samsung SGH-200

Mine was in white colour

4) Samsung SGH-E810C

5) Samsung SGH-E530C

6) Nokia 7370

7) Nokia n73 (current)

Did I miss out any phone? =x

TAMAGOTCHI!!!

This was the toy that became so popular during my childhood days and when almost all kids owned at least 2 of it. But I got 3 as I shared with my sis. Hehe. The first Tamagotchi was the one on left (chickie), followed by the middle one (dino) and lastly, I don’t rmb what animal/creature is that. Haha. But I know this tamagotchi can fight with others and it had secret code if you want to win the battle. Something like kept pressing the first 2 buttons at the same time and the animal/creature would “open” 2 fireballs to the opponent. HAHA! So lame.

I remembered that I was on the train with my mum and I heard a boy around my age (I was in primary 5 I think) telling his mum that he wants to fight with me. Haha. Fight as in through Tamagotchi obviously la. His mum then told him that he cannot fight with me as I was a girl. Lol. I got off the next stop so there wasn’t a chance for him to have a battle with me even if I agreed. Ha.

Pagers and Tamagotchi happened so long ago man. Who will own a pager and a Tamagotchi at this time? Maybe yes for Tamagotchi. I know someone who owns a Tamagotchi. In fact everybody knows cos “Everyone’s reading it.” =)

Sigh. My lappy’s adaptor die on me. How suay can I be? Both Chewy and I are the suay ones.

How adaptors can get spoiled so easily? I don’t understand. Chewy’s adaptor spoiled long ago and mine spoiled in school today. How? My laptop just blackout and that’s when I knew my adaptor die. Before chewy got a new replacement, she still manages to use the adaptor at home sometimes and mine totally can’t. Sucks.

My laptop did not give me any major problem so far till today. The thought of being not able to remain online for long just make me feel upset. I’m so used to coming online whenever I reach home and only shut down my lappy when I wanted to sleep. But now, my lappy’s battery can only last less than an hour. How can I survive without my lappy?

I can only get the new replacement tml, latest by 12.30pm. Hope Acer people will keep their word. I don’t want to wait for another day.

My lappy got blackout five times today. 3 were due to the adaptor fault and the remaining times were because of human fault. The first human fault was when my classmate accidentally switched off the switch not knowing that my plug was there. And I din realized it till it remained black for more than 5secs. I was waiting for my game to load at that time and I thought it was loading when it turned black!! Jingmin was thinking why I can remain so calm and I told her “I really don’t know about the blackout!”

The second time was one of my jiemeis, Ms Chee. But partly was jingmin fault as she was playing with her switch. Then here come Ms Chee’s itchiness thinking that it was fun too and switch of hers! She did not realize that mine was connected to her switch so another blackout for my lappy again.

My lappy suffered major setbacks in a day. Poor thing.

Anyway, we had our IB board game presentation today. Great team we had. :)

the pieces that Liana did with the eraser as base (sponsored by me). Haha.

the 9 countries that the players have to choose. each country will represent 1 lecture

I finally sewed this star onto my lappy casing! Haha. No la, I wasn't the one doing the hardwork. Credit to my sis okie. She's the one who helped me with the sewing. Hehe. Thinking back, I bought this star since beginning of year 1 and only gt it sewed yesterday! Lol. Tsk tsk. I bought this star with Sherlyn and she had hers sewed long ago and even removed off la.

Was working in Ted Baker at NAC yesterday. I realised that working in such a place is sooo not like me. Why do I say so?

Cos I need to behave myself in this kind of environment which is different from working in adidas. I get to laugh loudly, play with my colleagues and sometime misbehave a lil in adidas. Whereas in Ted, I need to constantly remind myself that I'm working in a high-end retail shop and have to be a lil professional. Haha. Like real man.

Okie, gonna study for my A math test tml. Shit. I haben started yet and I don't feel like starting. Can they postpone it? plsss
