Happy New Year everyone!
I had fun counting down with my frens yesterday. How about you?
We went to the Liquid Kitchen @ Upper Thomson Road as the outlet at Bukit Timah closed down early this year. The party started around 10.30pm officially. We were there early but as it was pretty packed and that we wanted an air-con area badly, we chose to be on the waiting list for the seats. Then, we were told that we need to spend a min of $100 in order to get the sofa seat and that was the only seat available at that time. So we got it of course! :)
I left the place about 12.40am to meet Kes without waiting for Loretta to come. Then while I was on the cab, the taxi driver was talking to me and he thought that I drank by hearing the sound of my voice. But in fact, I was down with sore throat and flu.
So when I was nearing Yishun, he asked me for direction but I wasn’t familiar with the route as I took bus or walk to his house from the MRT all along. Then again, he said this, “Miss, are you still sober a not?” WTF. He din believed me when I told him that I did not drink at all in the first place la. Wah piang. Thus, I told him that I did not touch a single drop of alcohol once again and explained to him that I din live in that area and that I was looking for my fren. Then then then then, he finally believed me. Haha.
My dad was laughing hard when I told him about it man.
